22 years. That is the length of time Charlie Greene has spent with the Milwaukee Brewers organization. In that span, he has become a fixture in the club's clubhouse, now serving as the team's bullpen coach.

Greene is bringing a specific piece of equipment to the World Series that bridges his two sports worlds. The item is a personalized protective cup that displays the logos and jersey numbers of both the Milwaukee Brewers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The dual branding stems from his son, Garrett Greene, who currently plays as a wide receiver on the Buccaneers' practice squad. The custom gear was designed by Diamond MMA. It features Charlie's number, 88, alongside the Brewers logo on the upper portion of the cup. On the lower portion, it displays Garrett's number, 85, with the Buccaneers logo.

"My number is on top, and his is on the bottom," Greene said. "We're representing the Bucs and the Brewers here."

Greene described the item as a functional part of his daily routine rather than a novelty. "It's a fun thing. I always wear it. It's a part of the uniform," he said.

While Charlie focuses on Milwaukee's postseason campaign, he maintains close contact with his son in Tampa Bay. Garrett is in the process of transitioning from quarterback to wide receiver at the professional level. Greene noted that the conversion is difficult but that his son has performed well during the change.

"Garrett is on the P-squad trying to get active. But he's enjoyed his time," Greene said. "It's tough making the conversion at the pro level. He's done well going from quarterback to wide receiver. He's in a great room down there. He enjoys those guys."
