Fi Ultra Price: Satellite Dog Tracker Drops to $209
A 30 percent discount using code SCARY brings the Fi Ultra back to its launch price through October 25, though a subscription is required for full functionality.

Fi has reduced the price of its satellite-connected pet trackers by 30 percent, a cut that lasts through October 25. Shoppers must enter the code SCARY at checkout to secure the lower rate. For the Fi Ultra GPS, the discounted price is $209.30. This figure matches the cost when the device first launched, effectively reversing the price increase that followed its initial release.
The promotion applies to several models in the company's lineup. The Fi Ultra specifically relies on a combination of LTE, GPS, and Starlink satellite coverage to locate pets. Fi states that this is the first dog tracker to integrate T-Satellite with Starlink, GPS, and LTE. The device holds an IP68 rating, meaning it is fully waterproof in saltwater. Battery life extends up to five days, though this duration varies based on the dog's activity level. The unit clips onto a collar or harness and can vibrate or play sounds to alert the pet.
Testing conducted earlier this year in a remote area of South Carolina revealed specific operational limits. Tracking accuracy was precise, but location updates occurred every two to three minutes. This interval may present issues for fast-moving dogs. In Lost Mode, which prioritizes tracking frequency, the battery lasted barely two days. The physical size of the unit also suggests it fits larger dogs better than smaller breeds.
The hardware requires an active subscription to function. Fi offers six-month, one-year, and two-year plans, with lower monthly rates for longer commitments. The one-year plan costs $99 for the first year and $189 for each subsequent year. These plans are valid only in the United States and do not include satellite coverage for Alaska.
The price reduction coincides with other retail offers available this week. Amazon lists the physical copy of Kirby Air Riders for the Nintendo Switch 2 at $48.99, down from $69.99. The JLab JBuds Talk USB-C microphone is also available at $24.99, a price well below its standard range of $50 to $100. Additionally, the Lego Star Wars Grogu set is listed at $103.99, which is $26 off its usual price and the lowest cost recorded for the 1,200-piece kit.
